Pyrography is the ancient art of wood burning. A technique which can be used to produce images and marks onto wood.
Places can also be booked in person at Debbie Bryan Shop & Studio, 18 St. Mary's Gate, The Lace Market, Nottingham, or over the phone 0115 9507776 (wed-sat 12till6pm)
Saturday Morning Workshop, £25 10.00 - 1.00pm
The Workshop is an introduction to Pyrography and will run for three hours.
You would receive an introduction pack with everything needed for the session.
All you would need to bring is your imagination and any images or patterns you may want to burn, keep it simple!
Saturday Afternoon Workshop, £25 2.00 - 5.00pm
This is a more advanced session, where you can bring something to burn for your own project. Or you can burn a shallow bowl.
Try more techniques to produce something for your home or a gift.
If you want to burn a bowl then a added sum would be a £5.00.
If you are bringing your own item to burn, then it needs to be a blonde hard wood, lime, beech, birch, sycomore and a design or image.
