Debbie Bryan Heritage Lace Knits

Lace Knits

Our luxury lace knit scarves are steeped in tradition, inspired by vintage patterns dating back to 1920. Collections are knitted on 100 year old lace knit machinery that sit along-side antique hand frame machines originally designed in 1589 by Reverend William Lee, inventor of the first knitting frame. 2012 marks the centenary of our industry partner - a 4th generation family owned knit specialist.

Nottingham Lace

Lace-making in Nottingham is an historic industry; Debbie Bryan Heritage is very proud to be working with the last Levers Lace manufacture in the local area. The Levers Lace designs used for our beautiful tablecloths, placemats, square and trims were first created in 1845 and are meticulously crafted less than 8 miles from our studio by family run company now in its 9th generation. Our industry partner are also the producers of lace that was used by the Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace to create the lace appliqué for Catherine Middleton's exquisite Wedding Dress.

Irish Linen

Rich in heritage, quality and history, our linen fabric is woven in Northern Ireland and proudly bears the Irish Linen Guild 'carpet beater symbol' as it’s colloquially called -the mark of true Irish Linen. Our industry partner has been established since 1854 and uses fine raw materials, skilled weavers, advanced loom technology and careful finishing to create our fabrics. These are the foundation of our embroidered table linen.
